Chilly Moo looks to the east as UCD and Irish Exporters Association collaborate to assist firms in preparing for export
As Chilly Moo Frozen Yogurt heads into their second year of business they also look to explore new markets with the assistance of a team of business students from the Michael Smurfit Business School with the assistance of the Irish Exporters Association (IEA) Asia Trade Forum programme.
“Although the frozen yogurt market is on the increase here in Ireland, we have to be realistic about what we can really achieve in the home market due to our relatively small population. We always knew we would have to look further afield for volume and the development of the Chilly Moo brand (and it always helps if these countries have unlimited sunshine!) so this is the perfect opportunity” says Joanna Lovegrove of Chilly Moo.

The Asia Trade Forum has entered into a mentoring partnership with the University of Limerick and the University College Dublin where students will work on a group project with a member company to provide a market entry strategy. The key focus of each project will be on entry strategies for a particular product / service into an Asian market.read more
